this isn't a picture of Florence, but it is off my back porch.
so, i leave for Florence on the 6th of January...that leaves me about a week to get everything together. after a crazy fiasco with the Italian Embassy in slc, i finally got my visa!! it looks so cool, there are about a billion holographic images on it. italy is FANCY!
i also got my schedule from the SACI registrar and am signed up for
-high renaissance, baroque, and mannerist art history (with a mandatory field trip class)(YESSS)
-museology
-beginning italian
and
-serigraphy!
i cant wait to get there and see what it's all about. the study abroad packet said, basically, to make friends, try to fit in with the locals, travel in packs, and dress super conservatively. hm...
